A lot of videos and stories of others touch me deeply. Fill my heart with so many emotions and bring me to tears. This one is def one of the most moving videos I have ever connected with. If you haven’t seen it, please take time out of your day to watch it when you can.
I can’t explain how it made me feel in a way the words would do it justice right now. Watch it and feel whatever you feel. What I can say is I was having a tough day. I don’t ever look at my days as good or bad. But rather sometimes great or tough… Today was a tougher one. If you’ve ever had days where you feel as if you are just trying to make it through the day, then you’ll get what I am saying. Whether it be cancer, illness, disease, depression, etc… When you watch and learn of others stories like Zach’s you remind yourself what truly matters in this life. And that every second is a blessing, even if you don’t feel well, live in pain, or are dealing with the fight of your life. Having this life at all, is the gift… the blessing… and to waste a second of it dishonors that gift.
We’re allowed to have our down days, our tough times, our struggles. No one persons is the same as any one elses. We all deal differently, we all feel what we feel. I am grateful that this incredible young man ever existed in this life, and how blessed all his family and friends were to know and love him, and have his life make such an impact on theirs. I hope when my days come to an end in this life, that I made a difference in the lives of others, and will be remembered with smiles, laughters, and so much happy in other’s hearts. I have always believed that helping bringing happiness to others lives is what we are here for. Whether are days are short or long.
From the minute we are born we are all dying. That is the reality of life. Some go much sooner then they should, but all serves it’s purpose. Zach inspired others. Zach’s life made a difference. I would call that a great life. May he be remembered always for what he did, and never what he did not!
Watch this and tell me you don’t cry like a baby!!! Tell me you don’t truly put what matters into perspective… Please watch and find an even greater appreciation for the breath you are drawing right this very minute and any more that follow. Sending love to you all!!!
